Chapter 8: After the Dream

“No…!!”

I woke up with a start.

Was it…just a dream?

No…no.

It wasn’t a dream.

That was an event scene from Charlotte and Lucas’ past that could be seen in Lucas’ route.

Because of their overly heavy past, my heart was still pounding to the point it hurt.

That past was so heavy and painful that I, as Izumi, had cried many times.

…It was the turning point in the lives of Lucas and Charlotte.

Lucas felt guilty for not being able to make it to the Stampede in time, so he spoiled Charlotte with love as an excuse, and never admonished his sister for her escalating selfishness.
